A three month old baby boy has sadly died after his mother accidentally left him inside a boiling hot car as she went to work.
The devastating incident which seen little Aiden Miller lose his life has now led to police in New Albany, Indiana to launch an investigation.
According to the boy’s father Aaron Turner, who was speaking to Wave News, Aiden’s mum had forgotten that she left him inside the car despite dropping their other son off to daycare on Monday morning.
The grief-stricken father who is separated from Aiden’s mother, also the Wave that Aiden’s mother was supposed to drop him off to a different daycare centre but forgot and went to work instead.
It is believed boy’s mum only realised what she had done when she noticed a smell upon returning to her car following her shift.
Although the distraught mother rushed Aiden to the nearby Baptist Floyd Hospital, he was sadly pronounced dead on arrival.
It is reported that little Aiden was left inside the car with temperatures above 30C outside.
Meanwhile the New Albany Police Department Criminal Investigations Division have confirmed that investigation is currently ongoing, but no arrests have been made.
