A man in China had a lucky escape and an experience that he’ll never forget after he was left dangling 330ft in the air from a broken bridge.
According to BBC News, the man was left clinging for his life after a number of glass panels broke on the 100m high bridge in the Piyan Mountain region.
The terrifying incident is believed to have occurred after the panels became loose in 150km/h winds that hit the region on Friday.
In photos which were shared on Chinese social media website WEIBO, the man is seen clinging on to the railing with nothing below his feet.
Although Emergency services were called to the scene to rescue the man, local media outlet Xinhua reports the man somehow managed to save himself after receiving assistance from staff.
It is understood the man a tourist who was visiting the area was later taken to hospital for treatment and counselling.
The shocking incident which has been shared on social media throughout China has now led to an investigation.
