In a truly horrifying story many residents in Buncrana, Co Donegal, believe that the man who was tragically found dead on Thursday evening may have frozen to death.
The man a Polish national, named locally as Muriusz Ejdys, aged 30, was found in the Old Mill in the town, and many residents now fear he died from hypothermia as a result of the sub-zero temperatures in Co Donegal over the past number of nights.
According to local media reports Gardaí are still trying to determine Mr Ejdys death, but many believe he may have fallen asleep in the Old Mill in extremely cold conditions.
It is understood a Garda forensics team is still conducting an examination of the scene. Meanwhile Mr Ejdys body has since been transferred to Letterkenny hospital were a post mortem examination will take place.
