A woman was allegedly gang-raped by three men whilst she was quarantined in a school in India.
It is reported that the woman was allegedly assaulted by the three men during the country’s Covid-19 lockdown.
The horrifying incident which occurred in the Rajasthan region has led to the arrest of three men and the suspension of junior police officer.
According to reports the woman who presented at a local police station seeking refuge after walking miles when she got lost whilst returning to her village.
It is alleged that the woman was placed at the school overnight and is not known how long she was left alone.
Authorities investigating the incident say the woman has since been taken to a local quarantine facility to be tested for the virus.
