The country’s hospital waiting lists are continue to grow as there are 819,000 people waiting on an appointment or procedure.
The figures which mark a record high show that a total of 601,300 people are waiting on an outpatient appointment.
Meanwhile there are over 80,000 people waiting on a day case or inpatient procedure.
The latest figures show a significant rise as figures stood at 802,300 at the end of June.
