
The Irish Defence Forces have provided 34 vehicles and three de-mining robots to the Ukrainian military, reports Breaking News.
These donations fall under the European Peace Facility (EPF), a funding initiative by the European Union aimed at supporting peace-building efforts.
The equipment is being sent to Rzeszów, Poland, where it will be organized before being delivered to Ukraine, reports Breaking News.

Tánaiste and Minister for Defence Simon Harris said: “It is imperative that we continue to stand firm in the face of ongoing Russian aggression and support Ukraine in whatever way we can.
“This donation is a practical example of that support, reflecting Ireland’s provision of non-lethal aid to the Ukrainian Armed Forces following Russia’s full invasion of Ukraine in 2022,” reports Breaking News.
“The vehicles being donated are suitable to Ukraine’s needs and their handover will be confirmed in Poland by the Defence Forces and the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” reports Breaking News.
Since the Russian invasion began on February 24th, 2022, Ireland has made several contributions of non-lethal aid to Ukraine, reports Breaking News.
