The Chief Executive of the HSE Paul Reid has said that the increase in Covid-19 vaccines will allow people to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Speaking to RTE’s Today with Claire Byrne programme, Reid said that 100,000 vaccines are expected to be administered this week.
The HSE Chief told the programme that an increase supply of vaccines of 1 million from April will give people hope and it will allow them to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Reid also told the programme that there are already positive signs amongst those already vaccinated as the number of cases reported in the top two cohort priority groups have already fallen.
