The Chief Executive of the HSE Paul Reid has confirmed that the Covid-19 vaccine portal for 35 to 39 year olds will open from Sunday.
It is understood that the portal will first open to 39 year olds on Sunday and then progress through the ages.
Meanwhile Reid also confirmed that the number of vaccine’s to be delivered in July will decrease as the country will only be using Pfizer and BioNtech and Moderna vaccines for the younger cohorts.
Reid said that a total of 200,000 vaccines are expected each week throughout the month of July.
