Hundreds gathered on Friday night in Co Fermanagh for a vigil honouring a family killed in their home earlier this week.

The local community association organized the event to remember Vanessa Whyte, 45, and her children, James, 14, and Sara, 13, who were fatally shot at their home near the village on Wednesday morning.

A man from the same household was found with a gunshot wound and remains in serious condition in hospital.

Many attendees walked together from nearby GAA grounds, reflecting the family’s deep involvement in local GAA clubs and other sports groups. The vigil was held at Maguiresbridge Primary School, where James and Sara were students.
