Legendary actor John Cleese has once again triggered the Twittersphere in a follow to his comments stating that London was no longer “an English city.”
The factually correct comments provoked a deluge of hate and vitriol from the “tolerant left”.
Now in reaction to the backlash Cleese tweeted
“I think it’s legitimate to prefer one culture to another
For example, I prefer cultures that do not tolerate female genital mutilation.
Will this will be considered racist by all those who hover, eagerly hoping that someone will offend them – on someone else’s behalf, naturally”
Cleese was referencing one the dominant cultures in London known, which is too say Islamic culture, in which the practice of slicing off a girls clitoris and other parts of her vagina is common.
In the UK the NHS records thousands of cases of female genital mutilation every year and though the practice is illegal only once has a case ever been brought to court, with authorities paralysed with political correctness.
Ironically, progressive open borders supports who claim to be the arch advocates of women’s rights are usually silent on this issue as they regard Muslims as members of a victim class and UK authorities treat them as a privileged minority.
There are an estimated 137,000 victims of FGM living in England and Wales alone.
