All festival-goers, or indeed anyone attending outdoor events this weekend, are being urged to pack rain gear as heavy rain will spread across the country over the next few hours.
Foo Fighters and the Kaiser Chiefs will play sell-out gigs at Slane Castle tonight.
But there are also many other major events taking place over the Bank Holiday weekend; Forbidden Fruit, Bloom, the Life festival in Westmeath and Bank holiday Monday’s women’s mini-marathon in Dublin, to name a few.
