A Palestinian Muslim cleric who preaches at the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem also known as the Dome of the Rock has proclaimed that an “army of Islam” will set from the ancient city and conquer the world.
In the address to the Mosque, built atop the third holiest site in Islam, Shiek Abu Hanifa Awda declared
“We will lay siege to Rome, turn White House black, impose jizya tax on London, and pray on the slopes of the Rockies and Andes.”
The Jizya is a tax that the prophet of Islam, Mohammed told his followers to impose on non-Muslim “people of the book” i.e. Christians and Jews, they had conquered.
The Palestinian cleric said in an address uploaded online in June that Jerusalem will be the “heartland” of the coming Islamic Caliphate from where the final conquest of the world in the name of Islam will be launched.
