Immigration crackdown: Post-Brexit Britain to fly migrants to Rwanda for processing and settlement

Boris Johnson is set to announce plans to send migrants to the African country of Rwanda to be “processed and resettled”.

Home Secretary Priti Patel is already in Rwanda finalising plans to sign the immigration processing and settlement deal according to the Telegram channel, Resistor Newswire.

The U.K. prime minister is close to unveiling the proposals to fly asylum seekers to Rwanda for processing and settlement, according to reports in The Times.

The Home Office did not deny the reports, with a spokesperson telling Sky News: “As set out in our New Plan for Immigration, we are committed to working closely with a range of international partners as we continue to fix our broken asylum system.”

Meanwhile in Ireland, the Green Party as part of the FFG coalition government are actively buying private homes to house asylum seekers arriving in Ireland. The Green party plan commits Ireland to giving every asylum seeker their “own door” accommodation. By buying thousands of private homes for foreign asylum seekers, the Green Party will compete directly with the Indigenous Irish in their battle for affordable rents and affordable first time home owners.
