In what can only be described as absolutely incredible, singer Brian Kennedy somehow managed to put on an brilliant performance and redention of his classic ‘Life, Love and Happiness” on last night’s Nolan Live show just hours after undergoing a heavy chemotherapy treatment.
At the weekend, the singer was interviewed on Ray D’Arcy Show about the major surgery he recently underwent to remove his colon and prostrate.
Brian had been suffering from a tumor on his rectum and was left with no alternative other than have surgery that would see him left with a colostomy bag and a bag for urination.
The upbeat star endured 8 hour surgery and was battered, bruised and pummelled but thankfully made it through the ordeal. He’s currently undergoing chemotherapy but is in good spirits and will be back performing again soon.
Social media users wished him well in his recovery and praised him for being so brave in his candid interview, as do we all.
