Strike action at Oberstown Youth Detention Centre now seems inevitable, after staff at the facility rejected proposals put forward by the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC).
The long-running dispute centers around conditions at the site and the violence that staff claim to be subjected to by residents there on a regular basis.
Workers will now re-issue notice of industrial action.
