The infamous cartel boss Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman has been found guilty of a jury of his peers of drug trafficking in the US.
According to reports in the US, Guzman who was extradited to the US back in 2017, was found guilty of all ten charges brought against him.
Guzman, 61, is believed to have trafficked tonnes illegal drugs including cocaine, marijuana heroin and methamphetamine to the US for the best part of 20 years.
It is reported that Guzman was found guilty after the jury heard testimony from over 50 witnesses who gave specific information in regards to the operations of the Sinaloa cartel.
Guzman is now expected to recieve a life sentence following his conviction.
