Investigation continues after four die after rally car crashes into spectators in Hungary

In Hungary, a rally car went off the road and collided with a crowd of onlookers, killing four people, reports Sky.

The collision happened during a race between the cities of Labatlan and Bajot close to the Danube River in the northwest of the nation, injuring at least eight other people.

According to a statement from the police, the cause of the collision is yet unknown, reports Sky.

Local media said that four rescue helicopters and eight ambulances arrived at the location.

According to local accounts, six people—including a kid—suffered minor injuries, one person was brought to the hospital with potentially fatal injuries, and one child was hospitalised with life-threatening injuries, reports Sky.
