A technical issue prevented many customers from buying lotto tickets for almost two hours yesterday afternoon
The National Lottery regulator has confirmed that they will launch an investigation into what caused this latest outage.
This was the second time in a month that a technical malfunction prevents customers from buying tickets.
Earlier this month, the midweek Lotto draw had to be postponed for the first time in 28 years.
In any case, the €70m Euromillions jackpot was not won last night. It will now rollover to Tuesday’s draw.
