Gardaí in Dublin have begun an investigation after a man aged in his 30s suffered facial injuries during a mugging in Lucan.
The investigation comes after the man was attacked by a number of men whilst walking on Hansted Road in Lucan, at approximately 2pm on Tuesday afternoon.
Gardaí say the men stole a number of items and fled the scene.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
