An investigation is underway in Co Cavan after a cyclist was the victim of an unusual assault last weekend.
According to The Northern Sound, the man named Noel, was thrown from his bicycle after a passing motorist threw an Argos catalogue at him.
Speaking to the station, Noel said he was knocked off his bike into the main road before the culprit drove off from the scene.
It is understood the incident occurred on the Cootehill-Cavan Road at 4pm on Sunday.
Noel who said such incidents are occurring more frequently, also told the station that he was thankfully assisted by another passing motorist who happened to be in the area.
