An investigation is underway after a total of eight people were seriously injured following a two car crash in Galway on St Stephen’s evening.
It’s understood the eight people were taken to University Hospital Galway following the incident on the Clifden Road, at approximately 5.15pm.
Gardaà say one of the victims suffered serious injuries, whilst seven others were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them on the confidential line on 1800-66-61-11.
