A garda investigation is underway after what locals in Dublin’s Cherry Orchard claim “youths went crazy” yesterday afternoon and evening.
A number of armed gardai were dispatched to the Cherry Orchard area of west Dublin after they received reports of gang-like street fighting among a number of youths.
Emergency services were in attendance at the Clifden Drive area of Cherry Orchard. It is understood that two people in their 20s had to be taken to hospital for treatment following the brawls.
The nature of the incident has not been disclosed but locals are saying that this type of behaviour has been going on for quite some time.
