A man and a woman have been treated following a suspected acid attack in Newry.
According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, both the man and the woman were injured following the attack Sugar Island Area of the city, at approximately 4:20pm on Friday.
It is understood the pair rushed to Ardmore Police Station.
Police say they are currently investigating the incident and as of yet no arrests have been made.
