Ireland finally saw its first signs of summer as temperatures reached 23C on Monday.
According to Met Eireann, Newport Furnace in Co Mayo, recorded the highest at 23.1C.
Elsewhere Shannon Airport saw a high of 22.6C, whilst Dublin’s Phoenix Park saw high of 22.4C.
Meanwhile the good weather looks set to continue as temperatures are expected to remain high teens or the low twenties.
However rain is expected to move in from the West on Wednesday but it will remain relatively dry as we move into the Bank Holiday weekend.
