People are taking a stand. They’ve had enough and they’re fighting back.

What started in East Wall has spread like wild fire throughout Dublin and around the country. The so-called “migrant plantation” has quickly become a national issue with politicians for the most part, burying their heads in the sand over it.

Today at 5pm, protesters in East Wall, Ballymun, Drimnagh, Baldoyle, Kimmage, Kill in Kildare, Killarney and various other towns and areas around the country will hold up their area to protest against migrants being planted in the community.

They say that these protests are moving towards one huge national protest that will happen down the road. Today, however, is expected to get the ball really rolling as politicians will have to sit up and pay attention.
