Today will see a new political party officially launched as the Irexit Freedom party will hold its first conference this afternoon.
The party are looking to achieve the same goals as the UK, that will eventually see Ireland leave the European Union.
It’s expected the party will try to convince Irish voters that the future of the country would be best outside of the EU.
They say the goals the British Government have set out to achieve could be achieved here and both countries could could continue to develop together without the constraints of the European Union.
Many people believe that there’s a growing appetite for an IREXIT with Ireland following Britain by leaving the EU. First steps first however, we’d need a referendum put to the people.
