Irish Coast Guard rescue woman from the Irish Sea




The Irish Coast Guard have rescued a woman off the coast of Wicklow.

According to RTE News, the woman was rescued off the coast of Greystones after she got into difficulties whilst swimming.

It is understood that the Irish Coast Guard received a call out at approximately 4pm after the woman was spotted near South Beach.

The woman who has since been taken to St Vincent’s Hospital where she is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
