According to the Irish Times, Irish parents will be asked to make a formal declaration in writing, stating they have no reason to believe their child has an infectious disease.

There may also be a ban on parents gathering outside schools when dropping off and picking up children.

Schools have been told to keep windows partially open during classes, fully open during break times and when teaching finishes to ventilate the classrooms.
