Following an almost drowning incident in his hotel pool, an Irish adolescent was kept in critical care at a Majorca hospital, reports Breaking News.
After being dragged out of the sea by lifeguards, who first helped him until emergency personnel took over, the small child was revived on Tuesday afternoon.
Wednesday, Manacor Hospital sources verified that the vacationer was, in fact, 14 years old rather than 16, as initially stated, and that he was still in critical condition.
“At this time, the prognosis for this patient is unclear,” the source stated. He remains in intensive care despite his admission to the hospital just after 4:15 p.m. yesterday, reports Breaking News.
When he was taken to the hospital, his condition was deemed to be “very serious.”
Tuesday at 2:00 p.m., the alarm went off. The drama took place close to the Love Island villa in Sa Coma, eastern Majorca, at the all-inclusive Globales Bouganvilla.
Uncertainty still surrounds the incident’s circumstances.
A six-year-old kid from North Belfast passed away in June 2022 while on vacation in Majorca as a result of an event that happened in the pool, reports Breaking News.
Before Corey Aughey lost his battle for life, he spent three days receiving critical treatment in a hospital in Palma, the capital of the island.
Additionally, he had been lodging at an unnamed hotel in Sa Coma.
Just a few hours had passed since the Aughey family’s arrival in Majorca when the catastrophe occurred, reports Breaking News.
