Irish Water to create 350 temporary jobs

The most controversial and despised utility company in the history of the State has today announced the creation of 350 temporary positions in Cork city.

The jobs will be created through Abtran, a company working on behalf of Irish Water to deal with its customers, and the workers will be based at call centres at Mahon and Curraheen.

The large influx of jobs are said to be created ahead of a massive amount of customer queries in relation to the first Irish Water bills, due to arrive in April.
