Robbie Brady’s spectacular goal on Wednesday night wasn’t the only thing one Dublin woman was celebrating.
The woman realised she’d won €500,000 while checking her and her father’s tickets, thanks to a QuickPick ticket bought in Spar in Woodstown Village, Knocklyon.
When she collected her winnings yesterday, the woman who wishes to remain annonymous said:
“It’s an amazing feeling. You wake up one morning and you can afford to see the world a little differently. Having the comfort of half a million euro in the bank is just wonderful.”
