“It’s disgraceful” – People aren’t happy that Kerry town with just 123 people gets 200 Ukrainians settled amongst them

It looks likely that it could happen right around the entire country. Many people on social media feel that Ireland is slowly seeing its people chop, change and even emigrate before its eyes.

The 21st century plantation of Ireland continues with the small south Kerry town of Portmagee, with a population of just 123 people, will see over 200 Ukrainian refugees settle in their community.

The Iveragh Peninsula, in Co Kerry, almost other worldly in it’s beauty, which harkens back to an ancient Ireland, will now see over a thousand Ukrainians planted among its small indigenous population.

This trend of population replacement is being carried out across the country in rural, suburban and urban communities.

While Irish people languish in a housing and cost of living crisis the government is determine to pursue the new plantation of Ireland, paid for ironically, with the Irish taxpayers money regardless of the opinions of the native people of this island.
