“Jennifer is doing nothing so far” – Almost 600 patients are waiting for hospital beds




Social media users are claiming that Ireland’s new health Minister, Jennifer Carroll MacNeill is “as bad as the last” and that she’s “doing absolutely nothing”.

According to today’s INMO Trolley Watch, 571 admitted patients are now waiting for beds. There are 216 patients in other hospital wards and 355 individuals waiting at the emergency room, reports Breaking News.

University Hospital Limerick has 112 inpatient patients awaiting beds. While 71 people waited in other hospital wards, 41 people waited in the emergency room.

57 individuals were on the waiting list at Cork University Hospital, reports Breaking News.

There were 33 people waiting at Letterkenny University Hospital, 41 at University Hospital Galway, and 55 at Sligo University Hospital.

Between the three specialised children’s hospitals—Temple Street Children’s University Hospital, Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, and National Children’s Hospital, Tallaght—14 children were on the waiting list, reports Breaking News.
