World music superstar Kayne West is well known for his controversial remarks over the past few years, but the US rapper has seemingly taken the biscuit this time around after he angered many Freddie Mercury fans by comparing himself to the legendary Queen frontman.
The American rapper rather amusingly made the comparison after performing a cover version of one of Queen’s biggest hits Bohemian Rhapsody at the Glastonbury festival over the weekend, Kayne’s performance did not go down to well with the festival crowd of over 135,000 people with many voicing their disapproval by booing and heckling the rapper after he amazingly forgot the words to the infamous song.
However Kayne didn’t stop there as he boastfully declared to the on looking crowd that they were watching the “greatest living rock star on the planet” at the end of his headline act. Kayne’s declaration and performance was met with an angry response on Twitter with many claiming that the rapper wasn’t even in the same league as the legendary rock star and band. However Kayne’s celebrity wife Kim Kardashian came out in support of her husband taking to twitter writing:
Has Kayne lost his mind and gone too far? What do you think?
