The late Kirk Douglas has bequeathed most of his $61m fortune to charity.
The legendary Hollywood actor lived through deprivation as a child, and grew up to become well known for his charitable actions later in life. He founded the Douglas Foundation ‘to help those who could not help themselves.’
Kirk Douglas passed away on February 5, aged 103.
