Leo Varadkar says we need to be cautious because the threat of a fourth wave is still there




Just as things begin to reopen and normality finally is on the horizon, Leo Varadkar has been accused of being a negative nelly as he threatens a fourth wave could still happen.

The Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has warned that the threat of a fourth wave still remains and we should remain cautious.

Varadkar warned his party colleagues at a parliamentary meeting that the threat of a fourth wave remains.

Varadkar said that the country needs to remain cautious especially as 2.5 million people have yet to receive a Covid-19 vaccine.

The Tanaiste’s comments come as NPHET have also voiced concerns over the possibility of a fourth wave and the Indian variant.
