LGBT activist employees remain “outraged” at ExxonMobil for banning “flags representing outside groups” from their corporate flagpoles, despite allowing Pride flags to be flown on flagpoles by their gay employees

Some LGBT ExxonMobil employees are outraged at their company’s decision to ban the Pride flag and other flags representing outside groups like BLM from corporate flagpoles, despite the Pride flag and other social justice warrior flags being allowed to be displayed in other areas, “including on lawns or in digital spaces”, reports the New York Times.

Flags representing company-approved employee resource groups, such as the LGBTQ+ group, can still be flown on corporate flagpoles under the new ExxonMobil flag protocol, yet LGBT activists remain “outraged”.

The LGBT employees are so outraged about this new flag protocol that literally allows the Pride flag to be flown, that the ExxonMobil LGBTQ+ group’s Houston chapter will not represent the company in the city’s June 25 Pride parade, Bloomberg reports.
