London policeman leaves hospital following surgery for being struck by a machete in frenzied attack

UK police officer Stuart Outten is recovering from surgery following a frenzied attack in London last Thursday which saw him slashed in the head, face and hand with a machete.

56-yr-old Muhammad Rodwan appeared in court in relation to the attack and just confirmed his name without saying anything else. He’ll be back in court in September for a hearing.

It’s understood that the copper pulled his van over for a routine stop and Rodwan launched at him brandishing a machete.

A video circulated on social media of the brutal attack which saw passersby trying to help the officer as his head was split open.
