Gardaí in Co Donegal have begun an investigation after an elderly woman was left badly shaken following a robbery at her home on Sunday.
According to The Irish Mirror, the robbery which is the third at the 93-year-old’s home in Magherabeg, Inch on the Inishowen Peninsula, occurred at approximately 10am on Sunday morning.
It is believed that the ruthless thugs wearing gloves ransacked the woman’s home and before fleeing the scene with her pension.
Although the woman was uninjured in the incident, the Irish Mirror say she was left badly shaken following the incident.
Gardaí investigating the incident say they are currently searching for two males believed to be aged between 18 and 25, approximately 6ft in height and have dark coloured hair.
It is understood the men were wearing checked shirts and gloves during the robbery, whilst one of the thugs was reported to be wearing tan coloured trousers thought to be tracksuit bottoms.
Officers investigating the incident say they are currently reviewing CCTV footage in the area.
