Punters and retailers are reporting issues with lotto machines across the country this afternoon.
This is bad news indeed, specially coming ahead of the big draw tonight, with a €12m jackpot up for grabs.
A spokesperson for National Lottery confirmed that there is an ongoing issue with lotto terminals, and that they are hoping to have it resolved soon.
The problem seems to be affecting the National Lottery website also.
A statement released by the organization reads: “The National Lottery is currently experiencing technical difficulties. We are aware of the issue and are working towards resolution.
“We thank all players and retailers for their patience as we work to restore service ahead of tonight’s €12m lotto draw.
