True romance genuinely is in the air on tonight’s Late Late Show.
Lovebirds Jimmy and Mary met some 55 years in Middleton, Co Cork.
They went out together after they met through work but unfortunately had to separate when they Mary had to emigrate for work.
Miraculously, Mary was on a holiday in Middleton with her son and upon re return to the UK, her son’s friend mentioned Middleton to which he replied that his mother’s first boyfriend was from there.
She decided to look into things and a message eventually went back to Jimmy who contacted Mary and incredibly they fell back in love and got married.
Jimmy said that literally a few weeks before Mary came back into his life that he had prayed to God one night in bed that he would meet a lovely lady and perhaps even Mary once again.
A fabulous love story that shows good things happen to those who wait.
