Met Eireann, the national forecaster has issued a stern warning to motorists as Storm Dennis approaches Ireland.
A ‘weather advisory’ notice has been issued ahead of the storm’s arrival which will see Dennis strike Ireland approximately 3am on Saturday morning and will remain in place until at least noon on Monday.
Met Eireann is predicting very wet, windy and dangerous driving conditions with motorists advised to be extremely careful overnight and tomorrow morning as the storm takes hold.
