Londonderry woman Sharin McCourt has good reasons to celebrate tonight, after winning £250k on a scratchcard bought at her local grocery store.
Sharin bought two scratchcards along with her usual grocery items. When she went home, she began preparing dinner and remembered the scratchcards. The first one was a dud, but the second one granted her a life changing gift of £250k.
She said she leads a ‘simple life’ and has no major plans for the money just yet, but added that she will be treating herself to VIP tickets to her favourite festivals, along with some wellington boots to “keep our feet dry”
