Traveling from Dublin to Wexford will now be that bit quicker after the official opening of the M11 road.
The 16.5km stretch of non-tolled carriageway took two years to finish and cost 282m. This new piece of infrastucture now creates a 90km motorway between Dublin and Gorey in Co. Wexford, and it is part of a 280km motorway that runs between Clogh in Wexford and Belfast.
Transport Minister Paschal Donohoe and Public Expenditure Minister Brendan Howlin officially opened the road today.
