A bus crash in Co. Donegal has left as many as 25 people injured, some of them children.
The incident happened at around 3pm this afternoon on the main Laghey to Pettigo Road.
It is understood the bus overturned, and 11 people have been taken to hospitals in Sligo and Letterkenny, though their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The bus was carrying the Carrickfergus rugby club’s U14 team and coaches. No other vehicle was involved in the accident.
The road is expected to be closed for some time while a technical examination takes place.
