Fire crews and other emergency personnel are at the scene in Knoclyon, Dublin, dealing with the aftermath of a gas explosion.
It is understood that some roadworks being carried out caused a main gas pipe to rupture, which in turn sparked a subsequent explosion and fire.
Two workers were injured and had to be rushed to Tallaght Hospital.
Knocklyon Road is currently closed to traffic and some residents have been evacuated.
