Making a difference: Thousands of people protest in Dublin demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza

A large number of individuals gathered in Dublin to participate in a demonstration in support of Palestine, urging for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and for the Irish government to impose sanctions on Israel, reports RTE.

The protesters marched from Parnell Square’s Garden of Remembrance to the Department of Foreign Affairs in St Stephen’s Green, concluding with a rally.

This “National Demonstration for Palestine” was organized by the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) in solidarity with a global day of action, reports RTE.

Today’s demonstration marks the 13th march held since 14 October to express opposition to the Israeli offensive in Gaza, which was initiated in response to Hamas attacks on 7 October.
