A Malaysia Airlines passenger jet was forced to turn back to its departing airport in Melbourne after an engine fire alert went off in the cockpit.
The crew declared an emergency and executed the appropriate procedure by dumping fuel and returning to the airport. The plane landed safely a few minutes later.
The airline suffered two major disasters last year; Flight MH370 vanished without a trace somewhere in the Indian Ocean in what became one of the greatest mysteries in modern aviation. A few months later, Flight MH317 was shot down over Ukraine.
