A male in his 20s was rushed to hospital following a stabbing incident in Dublin city centre on Monday morning.
It is understood that Gardai were called to a disturbance in Cathal Brugha Street in the capital, and found the victim slumped on the ground.
The man was rushed to the Mater hospital for treatment.
Gardai are asking witnesses to come forward.
