Police have released the above image to raise awareness of the dangers of ecstasy.
A young man has died and a young woman is seriously ill after was rushed to hospital on Saturday morning after they took ecstasy at a student gig in the UK, police confirm.
The teenage male was first taken ill at the Assembly music venue in Leamington Spa at around 5am on Saturday morning before being rushed to hospital where he sadly was pronounced dead a short time later.
Warwickshire Police have shared a picture of the hexagonal ‘Red Bull’ pill which they say was the drug that the young people took.
They realised the image in an effort to stop other people from taking it.
The young woman remains in hospital in a stable state.
